The following translation of the regulations for the Licentiate in Catholic Theology is just an aid for understanding. Only the german text is legally binding.

In addition to the Master's degree course in Theology, our College offers the possibility for further and more in-depth theological postgraduate studies. Biblical, historical, systematic and practical theology can be chosen as focal points. The prerequisites for such postgraduate studies are either a diploma in Theology or a teaching certificate for high schools in Catholic religion with additional certificates of achievement. After four semesters of further study, the postgraduate studies can be completed with the academic degrees of Licentiate (Lic. theol.) or Doctorate (Dr. theol.).
